Because of dwindling membership, the House of Lithuania has voted to withdraw from the House of Pacific Relations. As a result. the House of Lithuania Lawn Program on September 23rd has been CANCELLED.
Each summer, the House of Lithuania hosts its annual Lawn Program at the International Cottages Lawn and Outdoor Stage area. In 2018, the event will take place Sunday, September 23rd from 2 to 3 pm. Entertainment will be provided by
Los Angeles Lithuanian Folk Dance Group "Spindulys",Ballet Institute of San Diego,San Diego Lithuanian Saturday School students, as well asa professional accordionist from Los Angeles.
A cultural exhibit and food booth will take place next to the House of Sweden cottage from 11 am to 4 pm.
In 2017, the event took place Sunday, August 13rd from 2 to 3 pm. The entertainment was provided by the Ballet Institute of San Diego, the Lithuanian Saturday School children and their parents, as well as an accordionist from Los Angeles. A cultural exhibit featuring Lithuanian folk art, weavings, maps, and publications took place concurrently from 12 am to 5 pm in the House of Sweden cottage. Imported Lithuanian ice cream "Dadu" was offered in the food booth.
